Financial Institution Data Analytics Firm Receives High-Profile Distinction from Red Herring

SANTA ROSA, CA (August 23, 2013) — Financial institution data analytics firm IQR Consulting has been named a finalist for the Red Herring Top 100 in Asia list. From among thousands of entrants, Red Herring, a global technology and innovation media company, chose the Top 100 based on several factors, including the companies’ international footprints, team quality and experience, and rates of growth.

IQR is currently engaged in data analytics projects with several U.S. financial institutions. The company employs data analysts, scientists and statisticians in offices throughout the U.S. and India.

With this designation, IQR Consulting becomes what Red Herring calls one of the most promising private ventures in the world.

“Financial institutions are searching now for the partners who will help them innovate for service to consumers of the future,” said Karan Bhalla, IQR managing director. “We know the business intelligence that comes from the kind of leading data analytics solutions we provide is the way forward for the financial industry. It’s terrific to have a respected global company like Red Herring recognize that, as well.”

According to Red Herring, it is the only organization that requires as much disclosure from entrant companies to be named in the Top 100. For every Top 100 list, the Red Herring team evaluates between 800 and 1,400 candidates per continent. Previous winners of the Red Herring award include Facebook, Twitter, and Google.
